ORGANIZATION

Welcome to the site of the Nationaal Verbond der Belgische Kynologen (N.V.B.K.).
Our aim is to introduce the world working dog community to the Belgian dog sport programmes.

This site is setup to promote Belgian ring sport. In light of the worldwide fame and versatility of the Malinois. The dog's usage in sport, police, military, Customs, DEA & search and rescue, has made him the Ferrari of the working dog world. Belgian Ringsport has created a high level of interest from people all around the world!
Novice handlers as well as advanced dog handlers will find substantial information here.

* contact information for Belgian ringsport clubs is provided for your ready reference. Both here in Belgium and also in North America.
* a brief explanation is provided of the rules and regulations regarding "Belgian ring sport".

Handling a sports dog individually is quite impossible,as many folks can a test. However, the only way to succeed is to belong to a Belgian ringsport club. Remember "There is no I in team". It takes a team to train properly for our sport.

The Nationaal Verbond der Belgische Kynologen" (briefly: N.V.B.K.) is the main organization of dog handling clubs in Belgium. For now, there are 5 subdivisions or districts: Antwerp, Brabant, Limbourg, East-Flanders and West-Flanders.
All sanctioned clubs are affiliated directly to the N.V.B.K. In Belgium there are more than hundred clubs and over 2600 members.

However it's also possibly to train other disciplines within the NVBK. Obediance, agility and reality are also disciplines that can be trained in our federation.
Since 2010, there gone be expositions organised for all breeds.Every discipline haze his own commision but works under the board of directors from the NVBK.
